Although clamshell and foldable shape designs already exist, Samsung is reportedly planning to launch its first-ever smartphone with a rollable display next year. However, it is still unclear when the company has planned to introduce this device.

This is not surprising news because Samsung privately revealed a rollable foldable display device to potential buyers in last year’s CES. Since then, many rumors about Samsung’s roll-up display phones have spread. The company also applied for a patent to show what the new shape design might look like.
