Xiaomi is said to introduce its new flagship smartphone – Xiaomi 12 in December this year. Many leaks and rumors have surfed online in the past few days that give us a hint at what feature Xiaomi’s new-gen flagship will carry.
In the recent development, DigitalChatStation, who is a famous Weibo blogger and tipster reveals that Xiaomi 12 series phones will be equipped with 2K screens, but not all devices will be featuring the same, some may also sport a 1080p screen.

Moreover, the standard Xiaomi 12 is code-named L2 and its model number is 2201122C, which has recently passed the national radio approval. However, the 3C and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology dual certificates have not yet been publicized yet.
Besides this, Xiaomi 12 will be featuring the 100W fast-charging system, a 50MP telephoto, and an ultra-wide lens set up. The upcoming phone is also said to be the first smartphone to equip Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 898 chipset.
Furthermore, it will feature a curved display and a center-aligned punch hole for a selfie shooter. Reportedly, it will equip a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate adjustment, which can be switched according to the usage scenario.
The 12 series is not all 2K, there are two specifications of 1080p and 2K.
