Snapdragon 888 powered cheapest Redmi smartphone could launch soon
Xiaomi recently launched the first Snapdragon 888 powered smartphone – Mi 11 in China. Other companies have also released high-end phones with new processors.
Now, new leaked reports have indicated that Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi can launch the most affordable phone with the new Snapdragon 888 SoC. This information has revealed by a well-known tipster on Weibo.

Reportedly, Redmi could launch its own flagship product with the Snapdragon 888, though the phone may be one of the cheapest phones in the market equipped with the latest Qualcomm processor. The new Redmi smartphone arrived with the codename Haydn model K11.
Currently, the company hasn’t make any official announcement about this smartphone. Previously, We’ve reported that the head of Xiaomi Redmi – Lu Weibing confirmed that the upcoming Redmi K40 Pro smartphone comes packed with Snapdragon 888 SoC.
As per the leaks, Blackshark is also preparing a new smartphone model codenamed “Emperor” equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 5G. It will be unveiled in the first quarter of the next year.
