OnePlus 8T is the latest flagship smartphone from the Chinese smartphone maker, OnePlus. It comes with impressive hardware and software capabilities. This device has a massive quad rear camera setup including a 48MP primary camera and other three rear camera lenses of 16MP, 5MP, and 2MP.

Aside from its impressive camera capabilities, some users have reported an annoying bug which is related to the camera of their phones. According to the reports from the OnePlus community forum, some OnePlus 8T owners having focusing issues while taking pictures or recording videos.

A user reported that touch to focus before capturing a picture is not working on his phone. Since the OnePlus 8T is a crown jewel smartphone from OnePlus, it is very disappointing for buyers to bear these kind of problems.

It’s high time when the users are owning this issue, the company has even provided a software update for the OnePlus 8T but the errors can’t be solved. Since the camera is a very common application use by every smartphone operator, its fix is highly in demand.

Meanwhile, a staff member on the community forum said that the company will fix the issue in the upcoming updates.

“I’ve passed on the information to the relevant team and will get back to you in case of any further updates.” Said Community member.

Other than this, some OnePlus 8T users are also facing a WhatsApp issue – picture in picture doesn’t work for video calling, Gallery takes time to show the recent pictures, battery drains fast, and more. Hope the company will take a step on these issues too and provide a fix in the coming OTAs.
