Standard Apple iPhone 15 could get small camera upgrades than Pro models

Apple iPhone 15 series is in the development stage and in the meantime, we have some inputs regarding the camera upgrades for the upcoming lineup. As per the details, the standard models could get a smaller sensor compared to the giant Pro models.

According to the well-known Weibo tipster @DigitalChatStation, the classic Apple iPhone 15 may adopt small camera upgrades and will continue to have an old stacked CMOS image sensor (CIS). Although, the Pro models are hearsay to use better sensors at 1/1.5 inches.

Ahead, the tipster reported that the next ‌iPhone‌ sensor size increase for the Pro models is set to occur in 2024, increasing from 1/1.28 inches to 1/1.14 inches.
