Upcoming OnePlus Nord phone may come as Nord CE 5G, not as Nord N1 5G

According to German blogger and trusted insider Max Jambor, the new smartphone that will replace the Nord N10 5G will be called OnePlus Nord CE 5G. Earlier it was reported that this smartphone will be released under the name Nord N1 5G, however, at some point, OnePlus decided to change the name.

The choice of the name seems strange, since the successor to the Nord N10 5G, logically, should have been called the Nord N11 5G or Nord N20 5G. The source does not specify what the CE letters in the name of the new model mean.

The technical specifications of the Nord CE 5G have not yet been announced, but it is expected that it will relate to relatively inexpensive devices. The original Nord N10 5G features a 6.49-inch FHD + display with support for a 90Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone is based on the Snapdragon 690 SoC, it has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory, which can be expanded using a microSD card. It is supposed to come with a 64-megapixel quad camera, a 16-megapixel front camera, a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel, an audio jack, a 4300 mAh battery, and support for 30W fast charging.
