As we know, Xiaomi is going to launch the next intermediate version of MIUI – MIUI 12.5. This new version is expected to come with an improved privacy setting, new animations changes, redesign volume menu, and mobile phone butler application, photos to PDF converter, and more.

Now, Xiaomi has released the new closed beta update with version 20.12.9. As per the released notes, due to the major version upgrade of Android, a set of devices released the last version 20.12.9 based on Android 10. Below you can check the list of the devices.

Upcoming updates for these devices could be based on Android 11. Following devices will start getting Android 11 based MIUI 12 beta builds once the program continues even after its temporary pause. However, Xiaomi is already preparing a major version update of Android 11 for these smartphones.
Recently, MIUI development for the Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro, and Redmi K30 Extreme Edition have now stopped until December 18, 2020. In order to welcome the release of MIUI 12.5, the version will be suspended for a period of time.
