The previously launched iPhone 11 was priced at $699, with iPhone 11 Pro costing $999 and the biggest iPhone 11 Pro Max starting at $1099.  The most similar model to iPhone 11 is the iPhone 12 Pro as both have a 6.1-inch display. The iPhone 12 Pro is expected to starts at $749 which is $50 more than the iPhone 11.

In this year’s iPhone, there will be two major changes, firstly the 5G connectivity and the other is the transition from LCD to OLED screen, these two changes will increase the production cost leading to the increased price.

Other than the 5G connectivity and the replacement of the LCD display with the OLED display the company also made some other changes.

This year’s iPhones are likely to adopt the new design similar to the recently launched iPad Air. One of the higher-end variants of the series is likely to sport the LiDAR scanner. The new iPhones will also feature the latest 5nm based A14 Bionic chip.

With the increase in the number of features, we can expect the new iPhones to be priced higher than the previous iPhone 11 series.

There is a possibility that Apple will remove the accessories such as power adapter and AirPods from the box. Apple believes that the elimination of accessories from the box will reduce the overall cost of the device.
