Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro may come with the support of 67W wireless fast charging technology
Last month, Xiaomi launched a new flagship, Mi 11 in China. At the Mi 11 launch conference, people expected the company to release the Pro version as well. However, Xiaomi didn’t announce the Pro model, but the source code of the MIUI Gallery app confirms the existence of the Mi 11 Pro.
In the recent MIUI 12.5 beta version, the XDA member found a new string array, named “keyguard_wireless_strong_charge_67W”, which contains two things, such as Star and Mars.

The model name of ‘Star’ ends in K1, while the model name of ‘Mars’ ends in K1A. This suggests that the two devices are related, and perhaps a regional version of each other.
In addition, he also suspects that at least the “Star” model will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, as it appears in a continuum named “s8350” and “Venus” (Code name for the Mi 11) and ” Cetus”(Code name for Xiaomi’s upcoming foldable smartphone) appeared side-by-side.
Some previous reports also indicate that Xiaomi’s new flagship is testing 80W wireless charging, which could be the upcoming Mi 11 Pro. We consider knowing if it is ready for mass production, but Xiaomi is actually testing 80W wireless charging.
Since there is no evidence that future Xiaomi phones will use 80W wireless charging technology, the company may not be ready to be equipped with a smartphone for this.
To control heat generation, Xiaomi can intentionally limit the maximum power to 67W instead of 80W. While there is substantial evidence that the company will use 67W wireless charging in future products, they have also designed a logo for this further.
Similarly, there is no indication that the Mi 11 Pro will support 67W wireless charging, but we’ll know the truth soon. Because a leak indicates that Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro will be released on 12 February.
