Now, as per the latest information, some specifications of the upcoming Mi 12 series revealed. Last year, Mi 11 became World’s first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, and according to the information, Mi 12 Ultra will be the first to use Snapdragon 895 processor based on a 5nm technology.
Several details of the Snapdragon 895 have been revealed, such as the use of ARM’s latest Cortex V9 architecture CPU, the GPU has also been upgraded from the Adreno 660 to the Adreno 730. It’s not hard to guess how much its performance has improved, just by looking at the number of changes.
Taking about the display, Mi 12 Ultra will come with a high-quality display with 2K resolution, which will be upgraded to an adaptive LTPO refresh rate display. It supports high-end refresh rate adjustment and can realize a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate adjustment function, which can be automatically switched according to usage scenario.
Considering the high refresh rate requirements and low power consumption, we have reason to believe that smart gesture operation logic can bring a smoother tactile experience and the quality of this screen should belong to the first echelon.
The report suggests that the Mi 11 Ultra will feature a 5000mAh battery with 120W wired and 70-80W wireless charging technology, a triple camera setup (50MP+20MP+2MP), a dual selfie camera (32MP+8MP) with 4K support, and more.
Anyway, these are just leaks. As of now, there is no official news regarding this upcoming series, so we should wait a bit till any new information comes.
