The foldable phone market is heating up with innovative technologies from brands like Samsung, Honor, and other players like OnePlus and OPPO. After the successful debut of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, now Xiaomi is also set to join the competitive foldable phone market with its upcoming device the MIX Fold 3.
Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 a highly anticipated smartphone, has successfully passed the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) certification. This credential is a significant milestone, confirming that the upcoming device meets the necessary standards for quality and obedience to regulatory requirements.
According to MIIT certification, Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is registered with license number 00-B324-238711 and carries a 2308CPXD0C model number. It supports various network connections, including 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G. It further sustains technologies like eMBB, Dual SIM dual standby, and 5G network roaming capabilities.

Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 Expected Specifications
The next foldable phone from the Chinese tech giant is expected to arrive in August 2023 in China and it will later make its debut in the Global market. The device is rumored to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship processor and packs a 4,800mAh battery with support of 67W fast and 50W wireless charging.
The big screen devcie is expected to have a white curved glass body, a rear quad camera setup with a 3.2X portrait lens and a 5X periscope lens, and a new waterdrop hinge to enhance drop resistance while maintaining a thin and light profile. The phone is expected to feature four Leica Optics cameras.
Simultaneously, the MIX Fold 3 is also said to be thinner, lighter, and more durable than its predecessor. It will be manufactured in Xiaomi’s intelligent factory in Beijing’s Yizhuang, which utilizes intelligent manufacturing systems to improve production precision and reliability.
