Xiaomi MIX Fold 3 is generating buzz in the tech world and as per the latest rumors, this highly anticipated device is expected to come pre-installed with MIUI 14.1, instead of the MIUI 15. While it may disappoint some users as the next high-end device was expected to ship with the latest software version.
As per the information of Xiaomiui, the Chinese tech maker is currently testing the latest version of its user interface, MIUI 14.1 based on the Android 13 operating system for the upcoming Xiaomi MIX Fold 3. The device has a codename “Babylon “ and the last internal build is MIUI-V14.1.1.0.TMVCNXM.
The ready availability of the firmware indicates that the foldable smartphone will be officially available in China. This new version of the operating system is anticipated to bring a host of new features, improvements, and optimizations to enhance the overall user experience. Accordingly, the foldable is expected to debut in August 2023.
Although this information is not yet official and the firm has also not clarified that, whether the MIUI 14.1 will be based on Android 13 or the Android 14 software version. However, it is important to wait for official announcements from Xiaomi for accurate and confirmed details, as the tech maker could make some changes before the official launch.
