Xiaomi Redmi 9 launched in India as the Redmi 9 Prime, powered by Helio G80 octa-core processor
On 4 August 2020, Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 9 prime in India. It is powered by Helio G80 chipset, 5020mAh battery, and a quad-camera setup. It is a rebranded version of the Redmi 9 that announced in Spain in June.

Redmi 9 Prime offers four color options – Space Blue, Mint Green, Sunrise Flare, and Matte Black. It is going on sale in India from August 6 as part of the sale of Amazon Prime Day. Xiaomi says that the phone will also be available later through Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other partner retail stores.
