After witnessing various leaks and rumors, we finally have some official information about the upcoming most awaited Note lineup. Therefore, Xiaomi has finally teased the successor of the Note 12 series, which confirms that the Redmi Note 13 series will be unveiled on September 21, 2023, in China.
As per the previous leaks and rumors, the Redmi Note 13 series will include three models, the Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+. However, the teaser only showcases two models, the Note 13 Pro+ on the left side with a leather back panel, while the right side smartphone is the Redmi Note 13 Pro which will have a glass back panel.
Along with the launch date, the brand also announced key specs of the Note 13 series. According to the revealed details, the expected Note 13 Pro+ model will be the first Redmi Note series phone to feature a curved screen, ultra-thin four narrow sides, and a 2.37mm small chin. Also, the display will have Corning Gorilla Victus protection.
The teaser image further confirms a triple rear camera setup with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor with f/1.65 aperture, OIS, leather-like back cover, IR sensor on the top, stereo speakers, and no 3.5mm audio jack for the Note 13 Pro+.
In addition, Xiaomi already confirmed that the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ will be the first phone to use a custom Dimensity 7200-Ultra SoC in partnership with MediaTek. Simultaneously, the duo will run Android 13 out of the box and will further support 4 major OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches along with 5G support.
