Recently, Samsung Electronics declared its partnership with global technology company ABB to expand Samsung SmartThings integration to more homes and buildings. With over 130 years of expertise and manufacturing and selling 550,000 products, ABB is one of the world’s leading technology companies.

The integration of ABB-Free Home with Samsung SmartThings creates a one-stop shop for IoT solutions, providing easy access to supervision and control over construction technologies and real estate developers, builders, and management.

Samsung and ABB are developing cloud-to-cloud integration, with both ABB-Free Home and SmartThings users having broad access and control.

With Samsung’s SmartThings platform, users can monitor and control the portfolio of ABB’s devices such as cameras, sensors, and comfort systems integrated with Smart Things, allowing users to access their smart home from anywhere in the world with a single application.

The energy-efficient buildings reduce unnecessary energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and costs. Samsung and ABB’s integrated energy management systems drive high-impact power applications such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, HVAC, and more with more efficient utility models.
