According to the well-known tipster @UniverseIce, Samsung is planning to impose a waterdrop hinge on the Galaxy Z Fold 5 but this implementation won’t bring an appealing crease. Rather, the crease design will be comparatively ugly.
Here is what the tipster said:
” I got the exact information about the crease of Galaxy Z Fold 5. It does use a waterdrop hinge, but the crease is much larger than that of a China-brand mobile phone so the crease looks similar to Fold 4… Don’t give hope to the crease.”
For your information, the South Korean tech giant is trying to make some huge changes to its foldable phone’s hardware for the first time. To date, the Flip and Fold models appeared with a U-shaped hinge. However, the company is now giving a new turn to this feature with a waterdrop design.
