Apple Watch Ultra has bigger battery than Watch Series 8

Apple has recently unveiled the iPhone 14 series at the launch event held on 7th September. The company also launched its two new smartwatches Watch Ultra and Watch Series 8 at the same event. Although, Watch Ultra is the most prominent smartwatch of Apple to date. Also, the Apple Watch Ultra has a bigger battery size than the Watch series 8.

It offers up to 36 hours of battery life which can be extended to 60 hours when Low power mode is enabled. Whereas, the Watch Series 8 can stay up for only 36 hours.

According to the information coming from the 3C certification website (MySmartPrice), the Watch Ultra packs a huge 542mAh battery while the Watch 8 Series has a 308mAh battery. Also, the other member of the watch Series 8 family comes with a 282 mAh battery. However, the company has not announced it officially.

Speaking of the battery size, the Watch Ultra boasts a big and powerful battery compared to the Watch Series 8 that comes in two variants, 45mm and 41mm.

Battery life has always been a matter of concern for users as most smartwatches could not even run for a whole day.

Notably, Apple Watch Ultra is catching more attention due to its exceptional battery size than the Watch Series 8. Among all the Apple watches the Watch Ultra has the largest battery.

Both watches are now available for pre-order. The sale for Watch Ultra will go live on September 23 while for the Watch Series 8 it will start on September 16.

The Watch Ultra is powered by watchOS 9, the latest software of Apple.
