Apple WatchOS 10.4 first beta update now live for Developers

Following the public release of WatchOS 10.3 on January 22, Apple has now dispatched the first beta version of the WatchOS 10.4 update for developers. To be mentioned, the WatchOS 10.4 beta has build number 21T5185g, replacing the 10.3 release candidate, build number 21S644.

Going toward the details, the WatchOS 10.4 first beta update brings some new offerings including new emoji characters such as lime, an edible brown mushroom, a phoenix, a broken chain, a shaking head vertically (as in a “yes” nod), and shaking head horizontally (a “no” head shake).

Other than this there are no new features found as Apple usually didn’t reveal feature changes in initial beta releases, but developers will be able to encounter some more changes, once upgrading their smartwatch to the latest version. Developers participating in the beta program can get the update by following below mentioned steps.

To install the ‌watchOS 10.4‌ update, developers need to open the Apple Watch app, go to the Software Update section under General in Settings, and toggle on the watchOS 10 Developer Beta. To install the latets build, Apple ID linked to a developer account is required.
