At the Galaxy Unpacked event earlier this month, Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro smartwatches. The new wearables come with some great improvements over the Galaxy Watch 4 series. However, it misses an important feature.
According to TizenHelp, Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 series does not come with a Camera controller. This feature lets you control your smartphone’s camera from your wrist, you can view exactly what your phone is seeing to capture some best shots.

Although it comes for some phones, it does not support all Galaxy devices. As per the report, only high-end Galaxy phones are compatible with Galaxy Watch 5 Camera controller feature whereas the mid-range and budget phone users are not able to use this feature.
Well, not only the Galaxy Watch 5, the same is the case for Galaxy Watch 4, Watch 3, Watch Active 2, Watch Active, and Galaxy Watch. All these wearables support the Camera controller but only for flagship phones.
The reason behind this is not clear yet. It’s not good that such a high-cost watches do not offer this feature on all devices. Even the upper mid-range phones like Galaxy A73, A53, A52, or A52s are not compatible with Camera Controller.
