Google Pixel Watch 2 will ditch stainless steel in favor of aluminum frame
Google Pixel Watch 2 is in the making and the latest details hint that the approaching wearable will pick an aluminum frame rather than outdated stainless steel. A major reason behind this implementation is to develop a lighter version of the smartwatch.
Notably, the standard Pixel Watch uses stainless steel case stuffed between Custom 3D Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Although things will slightly change for the next-gen wearable. Consequently, the Google Pixel Watch 2 will adopt the aluminum frame around for a lighter feel on the wrist.
Alongside Google, Apple is also trying to possess the same strategy for its upcoming Watch Ultra. So far, devices like Sense 2 and Versa weigh only 26 grams without a band, which is quite convenient for several activities. Hence, it won’t be wrong if Google opts for the same.
