Google has published the August 2023 security update bulletin for both Pixel phones and Watch devices. While the handset section collects several improvements regarding the user interface, the wearable department grips some new bug fixes to enhance the security aspects.

Looking into the details, Google Pixel Watch is getting the August 2023 update with the RWDC.230805.001 global version. Ahead, the patch fixes eight high-severity issues in the framework, platform, and system. You can check some more details on the dedicated Wear OS security bulletin.

At the same time, it seems like the company will push off the next upgrade in the form of the Wear OS 4 beta program. Therefore, you should prioritize this update and install it as it arrives on your device, as it could act as a baseline build.
