Google responds on Fitbit Charge 5 severe battery drain issue

Fitbit Charge 5 has recently received a new update that resulted in a heavy battery drain issue, but thanks to Google as it finally addressed the problem and responded on the matter. The company said that it has started working on the solution and will soon roll it out for the respective device users.

To those who are unaware, Fitbit Charge 5 users were stuck with a nasty bug that made the wrist gadget unusable. Eventually, after installing the 194.61 version, the wearable started functioning abnormally, hampering the user experience. Read the full story HERE.

However, Google has noticed the Fitbit Charge 5 bugs including the battery drain issue. Following the matter, a Fitbit spokesperson said:

“We’re aware that a small number of Charge 5 users are experiencing problems with their devices. We’re currently investigating and will update users when we’ve identified the issue. In the meantime, users should contact Fitbit Customer Service at help.fitbit.com to help troubleshoot the issue”.
