Google works tirelessly to offer its users a more seamless experience than ever before, and now the search engine giant preparing to launch Material You color theming for WearOS devices. However, the inclusion of color theming on wearables will definitely offer users a more optimized interpretation.
Going toward the details, some Pixel Watch owners saw the usual white accents of Wear OS get replaced by the blue hues that Material You’s dynamic color theming uses by default. However, this transformation hints that the Google Material You Color Theming seems to be on the way to WearOS devices.
To be mentioned, the latest update of the Watch on WearOS app shows a notification, that declares that the Material You Color Theming has arrived. However, the change currently appears on the Pixel watch, but the other Wear OS watches may also get dynamic colors in the near future.
In addition to Wear OS being able to respond to your watch face’s color, users will also be able to select a theme color manually through the Settings app. The options should appear under a new “Watch face & style” section of Settings.
However, the source also uncovered what looks to be the initial list of colors including Almond, Pomelo, Champagne, Limoncello, Lime, Pear, Mint, Jade, Spearmint, Sky, Sapphire, Flamingo, Melon, Dandelion, Aqua and Lilac.
