The new update adds LHDC and low latency modes and fixes some bugs to improve performance. In addition, these buds use ceramic touch keys. You can make calls, turn on noise reduction mode, pause/play audio, and wake up Xiao Ai by tapping or long-pressing the ceramic back cover of the headset.

The setting interface shows that the LHDC mode can provide a high-quality audio experience, while the low-latency mode can provide a low-latency experience in synchronization of game audio and video.
The company also claims that with ANC shut down, earbuds can run continuously for about seven hours. They support wireless charging, and it can take about an hour to fully charge via wired charging.
The listed working distance is 10 meters, and they are said to support Bluetooth 5.0 connections. Apart from this, Xiaomi Air 2 Pro is also equipped with an infrared sensor and supports broadband active noise reduction.
