However, in the latest development, the folks over at GalaxyClub spotted the battery unit of Samsung’s next smartwatch. As per the details, the standard Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 packs a bigger battery than the Galaxy Watch 5.

The company reportedly submitted the battery to South Korea’s certification authority, and the document reveals a worthy upgrade. Moreover, the Galaxy Watch 6 40mm battery (EB-BR935ABY) has a typical capacity of 300 mAh, while the rated capacity is 295 mAh.

To be noted, the vanilla Galaxy Watch 5 features a battery with a typical capacity of 285mAh and a rated capacity of 276mAh.
Further, the Korean tech giant has also got certification for both of the submitted batteries, which bear model numbers SM-R93x and SM-R94x. Different model numbers refer to different variants (sizes) of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 smartwatch.
