Back in June 2024, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Watch FE in some countries including India and the US. Now, the support page of Galaxy Watch FE went live on Malaysia’s website, indicating that the wearable will be launched in Malaysia soon
The support page didn’t provide any specific details besides a 40mm Bluetooth variant of Galaxy Watch FE. But the listing on Samsung’s website might have brought a wave of excitement among those, waiting for an affordable watch in Malaysia.
In addition, the Galaxy Watch Fan Edition variant has also been spotted on the SIRIM database with model number SM-R861, further suggesting an imminent launch. While, the exact debut date of the watch is currently a mystery.

The Galaxy Watch FE boasts several impressive specs, including a 1.2-inch display, an Exynos W920 chipset, 1.5GB RAM, and 16GB of storage. It also features a 247mAh battery, runs on One UI Watch 5.0 software, and is available in three colors —Black, Pink Gold, and Silver.
Aside from Galaxy Watch FE, Samsung is also warming up to unveil the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra smartwatches. These wearables are set to be unveiled at the Unpacked event on July 10, 2024, in Paris France.
