Samsung is preparing to make its already impressive – Health app more versatile with a new family health data-sharing feature. The upcoming feature is currently under development and we could see its glimpse soon.

AndroidAuthority states, Samsung is working on a family health data-sharing feature for the Health app. This will allow users to share their health data with family members, making it easier to keep track of loved one’s wellbeing.

The teardown also reveals that, users will have full control over the health data they share and be able to stop sharing it at any time. While, access to a children’s health report will require guardian permission.

The sharing of data will be restricted and the shared reports will be deleted automatically if the user remains inactive for an extended period. Accordingly, the feature requires approval, to ensure that health data is kept private and secure.
