Samsung to launch Galaxy Watch 7 with 3nm Exynos W1000 processor

Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Watch 6 series successor with prominent capabilities at the next Unpacked Event in July 2024. Meanwhile, a recent input claims that this upcoming wearable line – Galaxy Watch 7 will feature the powerful 3nm Exynos W1000 processor.

According to the information, Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Watch 7 with a powerful W1000 processor, that will be fabricated on a second-generation 3nm process node. This new chip is expected to bring significant improvements and efficiency in wearable performance.

It’s worth mentioning that, the second-generation 3 nm process node on which the Exynos W1000 SoC will be fabricated is the most advanced technology available in the chip industry so far. It is reported to improve computational performance and power efficiency by over 20%.

Simultaneously, the Exynos W1000 chip is going to be the first product manufactured on a 3nm process and Galaxy Watch 7 will be Samsung’s first device to use a 3nm Exynos chip. Whereas, the mass production of the 3nm process node is expected to begin in the second half of this year.

While we don’t have all the details yet, it’s safe to say that the Galaxy Watch 7 with the 3nm Exynos W1000 chip will likely offer a smoother user experience, deliver optimized performance, present improved fitness tracking capabilities, and more advanced features.
