Xiaomi Smart Band 8 sets a new standard for fitness trackers

Xiaomi has set a new standard with the global launch of the Smart Band 8. This sleek and feature-packed fitness tracker promises to be the ultimate companion for individuals seeking to monitor their health and wellness.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 offers a pill-shaped module, featuring a 1.6-inch AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, Always On Display (AOD) mode, and plenty of watch faces. It comes with a pebble clip mode, which lets you put the band on your shoelace and better track your running activities.

Additionally, the Band 8 has different-sized lugs for various types of straps (leather, woven leather, hollow bracelet, and TPU), so you can choose the one that best suits your style and needs. The wearable further offers a heart-rate monitor, SpO2 sensor, sleep tracker, and menstrual cycle monitor features.

The smart band is claimed to last up to 16 days on a single charge with AOD disabled. It can be charged fully in approximately 60 minutes. However, the Smart Band 8 will be available for purchase in Europe with a price tag of 40 euros ($43).
