Xiaomi has once again captured the attention of smartwatch enthusiasts with its latest offering, the Watch 2 Pro. This all-new smartwatch, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro brings something new and exciting to the table by introducing support for WearOS, Google’s popular smartwatch platform.
The partnership of Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro with WearOS opens up a world of possibilities for users, as WearOS is known for its extensive app ecosystem and seamless integration with Android smartphones. With WearOS support, the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro is poised to offer a rich and versatile user experience.
Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro brings a premium design with a stainless-steel build and a rotating crown on the side. The round dial features a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a 466 x 466 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by the Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The wearable gets access to features like Play Store, Google Maps, Google Wallet, and contactless payment through NFC. In terms of functionality, the smartwatch supports an extensive range of 150 different sports modes, along with features like ECG monitoring, heart rate tracking, body temperature monitoring, and sleep tracking.
Moving on, the Watch 2 Pro also allows voice calling and the ability to send text messages through LTE connectivity support. The watch is claimed to last 65 hours of regular usage. In addition, it brings a water resistance rating of 5 ATM, Bluetooth, dual-band GNSS, and more.
The Wi-Fi variant of the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro will be priced at 269 euros ($285), whereas its LTE variant will cost 329 euros ($348).
