Ahead of the official launch, the images of the upcoming Xiaomi 12 have leaked, courtesy of Evan Blass (@evleaks). The new phone will feature a triple camera setup, 50MP camera sensor on the back.

The Xiaomi 12 will feature a 6.28-inch curved display. The Xiaomi 12 will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset on December 28.

Xiaomi 12 is said to be introduced on December 16. However, at that time only the base variant will be launched and others are set for 2022. Ahead of the launch, we get familiar with several leaks and rumors about the upcoming smartphones, including renders.

In a recent development, DigitalChatStation (via SparrowNews) reveals that Xiaomi 12 will equip a 50MP primary camera that features OIS support along with an ultra-wide-angle lens and a macro sensor.

He further said that the curved display on either side will be the standard on the entire Xiaomi 12 series. The tipster also says that the forthcoming smartphone series will arrive with a regular stereo speaker design.

Particularly, we can expect that the devices will feature a dual stereo speaker system. If you don’t know the Mi 11 series also featured a dual speaker design, although, the stereo speakers had an asymmetrical design.

Xiaomi 12: What we know so far

Xiaomi 12 is mainly based on Qualcomm’s new platform, the screen and the main camera are dominant. Aside from this, Xiaomi 12 will be featuring the 100W fast-charging system, a 50MP telephoto, and an ultra-wide lens set up.

The upcoming phone is also said to be the first smartphone to equip Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 898 chipset. It is said to feature a curved display and a center-aligned punch hole for a selfie shooter. Reportedly, it will equip a 2K screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate adjustment, which can be switched according to the usage scenario.
