On June 18, Beijing Xiaomi Mobile Software Co., Ltd. has published the new invention patent for “Sound charging equipment, energy storage equipment and electronic equipment”. The publication number is CN112994199A, and the application date is in December 2019.

The patent abstract shows that the present exposure is a sound charging device, consisting of a sound collection device, a number of energy conversion devices, and a power conversion device. It converts the sound in the environment into mechanical vibration, then converts the mechanical vibration into alternating current, and finally the alternating current to direct current.
In this representation, the user can use the sound of the surrounding environment to charge the electronic device without looking for a power socket, thereby reducing the difficulty of charging and improving the user experience.
