Single Take feature on Galaxy S24 Series works little different as compared to other Samsung phones
Single Take is an outstanding feature that lets you capture multiple shots of pictures and videos with just one tap, and now with the Galaxy S24 series, Samsung has made this camera feature even more precise. So let’s dive into the details and check out what this upgraded version of Single Take fetches.
At Galaxy Unpacked 2024, Samsung unveiled its latest flagship lineup pre-installed with One UI 6.1 software and also introduced its capabilities to the audience, which shows that the Single Take feature works a little differently on Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra devices as compared to other Galaxy phones.
The single take on the Galaxy S24 series allows users to choose a zoom level before shooting, namely 0.6x, 1x, 3x, 5x, or 10x. It can also shoot at 2x by enabling this option in the Camera Assistant app. The firm further stated that the AI-powered Galaxy S24 series Single Take feature can recognize up to eight pet poses in real time.
These poses or actions include running, sitting, an open mouth, and jumping. Here the big twist is that the pose such as a jump can be detected and turned into a slow-motion video. Lastly, the Single Take will now capture a minimum of four results by default (original video, boomerang, best photo, crop photo).

Consequently, the improved Single Take mode is currently available on the Galaxy S24 series, but Samsung says it’ll also be expanded to more devices including the Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Tab S9 series.
