India removes ban from very-famous BGMI mobile game
India has finally lifted up the ban on the very popular mobile game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). According to the latest details, the game is going to be relaunched for a trial period after a 10-month ban.
A South Korean game developer Krafton recently said that India has ultimately removed the restrictions from the BGMI mobile game. This happened after South Korea’s foreign affairs and culture ministries held meetings with their Indian counterparts to help in the removal of the ban.
To those who are unaware, the game was quite famous among youngsters in the nation. However, the Indian government prohibited the game app after knowing its cons regarding data sharing and mining in China.
The information further reveals that this three-month trial was agreed upon after it conceded issues of server locations and data security. The statement was given by the Indian deputy minister for Information Technology, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, in a tweet.
Ahead, Rajeev said that the government will keep a close watch on other issues of user harm and addiction in the trial period before making a final decision.

The ban on PUBG was part of a larger ban on more than 300 Chinese apps, including short-video platform TikTok, after the government ramped up its scrutiny of Chinese businesses in the wake of a 2020 clash between the neighbors.
