Remasters developer announced plans to support two updated games for Age of Empires 2 and 3 Definitive Edition

At the Age of Empires Fan Preview event, the developers announced plans to support two updated games – Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition and Age of Empires 3 – Definitive Edition. In addition to bug fixes and balance improvements, both games will receive new content.

Moreover, Dawn of the Dukes is coming to Age of Empires 2Definitive Edition this summer, bringing new factions from Eastern Europe and additional campaigns to the game. In a few weeks, missions and campaign fragments will be available, prepared specifically for the additional game mode – historical co-op battles.

Age of Empires 3: Definitive April 13 will receive a new civilization – the United States. The add-on can be unlocked for free if you complete 50 special tasks in the game within a certain time. In the second half of the year, Studio Tantalus will release an add-on representing civilizations from Africa.
