ASUS officially launched ROG Strix XG279Q-G Gundam co-branded display, uses an IPS panel
Recently, ASUS officially released the ROG Strix XG279Q-G Gundam co-branded display. This product has a pure white background, with classic blue and red colors, and a huge ROG Logo printed on the back.
This monitor is 27 inches with a resolution of 2560×1440 and utilizes an IPS panel. The display has a maximum brightness of 400nit, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
The display has a refresh rate of up to 170Hz and a response time as low as 1ms, meeting the needs of professional gaming. Additionally, the product also has displayHDR 400 certifications, taking into account the use of audio and video.
This monitor is compatible with ASUS ELMB Sync and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, which can decrease screen smear and give smooth game screens.
In terms of interfaces, this monitor has 2×HDMI 2.0 ports, 1×DP 1.2 ports, and USB hub functions. In addition, it also has a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The ASUS ROG Strix XG279Q-G monitor also has shadow enhancement functions, game assist functions, and a variety of presets built in to meet the needs of different games like racing, FPS, and MOBA.
The display is certified by Germany Rheinland, has no flicker, and provides 5 options to reduce blue light. This Gundam co-branded display is currently priced at 4,299 yuan (655.97 USD) that is 300 yuan more expensive than the standard version.
