Alex Kidd in Miracle World DX classic 2D platformer will receive Signature Edition

Recently, a remake of the classic 2D platformer with puzzle elements will be released this summer. The developers have presented the composition of the collectible edition of the game. Merge Games has released a collector’s edition called the “Signature Edition“.

It will include:

• 3 icons
• Game Guide
• Keyring
• Medallion and bag
• JanKenPon Cards (Rock-Paper-Scissors)
• CD with game soundtrack
• Artbook
• Certificate of Authenticity
• Collection box

Alex Kidd in Miracle World was released in 1986 for the Sega Master Systems platform and has since become a classic. The protagonist of the game was the mascot of the company until the speedy blue hedgehog Sonic appeared.

The developers will not only rework the old content but also add new elements. It was promised that the soundtrack will be expanded, it will be possible to switch between the original and updated graphics at the click of a button, new levels and boss battles will be added.

The release of the game is scheduled for June 24 this year, simultaneously on all announced platforms: Nintendo Switch consoles, PS 4 | 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, and PC. The release trailer for the game was recently published.
