Although less related to COVID-19 than the other games on this list, Amazon is not immune to the current game delay wave. The company has been trying to break into gaming with weak results for some time. Amazon’s next game, New World is also facing similar issues. The game, which was originally scheduled to launch this spring, has now been pushed back to August 31.
Amazon said it made the decision to have a proper endgame when the game started, so the studio is trying to avoid the same damage that Marvel’s suffered when it started. The closed beta for the game will now open on July 20th.
