That concern is rapidly becoming a reality. Delays are falling to the left and right, as some of the biggest games of the year move in line or next year. This will lead to a much thinner release schedule than what fans initially thought was an exciting year for gaming. Here is a roundup of all the major video game delays that have occurred so far.
Even games that are a few weeks away from starting are not protected from potential delays. The game was pushed back on August 17, just weeks before the grand strategy game Humankind was eliminated.
