Google recently unveiled the Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 for eligible Pixel smartphones. This QPR (Quarterly Platform Releases) update is released for Pixel devices as a part of Feature Drops. The company brought a bunch of new features alongside many performance optimizations and bug fixes.
Other than so many features that can be seen on Pixel 6a after upgrading to Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1. Meanwhile, 9ToGoogle found an impressive change to the Quick Settings Panel. According to the report, Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 Quick Settings toggles now have unique animations.

For example, when tapping the Auto-rotate toggle, the dual arrows will flip to indicate that you have enabled the function or when turning off the Camera access, the diagonal line will appear on the camera icon that indicates it’s turned off.
However, not every toggle has a dedicated animation. For instance, Flashlight simply turns on or off as it did previously. The same goes for the One-handed mode option in the Quick settings as it also doesn’t have any animation.
It can be seen in the video provided by 9To5 that there is no animation when you deactivate or disable select device features for the Quick Settings Panel.
Meanwhile, third-party toggles are empty of animations and this is extended to those who have another menu or panel, such as Wi-Fi, Screen record, Screen Cast, Home, Nearby Share, Wallet, Calculator, Live Transcribe, and QR code scanners.
Google with its Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 further brings a constant floating pane at the bottom of your display to indicate when Focus Mode has been enabled.
Whereas, on tapping the app-blocking mode from the Quick Settings panel, the full notification will slide in from the bottom of your screen that allows users to access the ‘Take a break’ and ‘Turn off now’ options.
Android 13 QPR1 Beta 1 brings notable Quick Settings toggles animations over what the Android 12 and Android 13 have. These might not make much difference but are nice all the same.
