Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2 is rolling out with more new fixes

After the official version, Google has now started rolling out the Android 14 QPR1 Beta 2 for Pixel devices, which comes on the platform with a new set of bug fixes. While there aren’t many improvements, the latest ones will surely boost the functioning of the smartphone.

Diving into the details, the second Android 14 QPR1 Beta update is tagged with the U1B2.230922.006 version. It further carries the October 2023 patch which will eliminate other privacy exploits in the security system, making the device more reliable for usage.

In terms of availability, the latest release is arriving for Pixel 5a, Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, and Android Emulator. You can check the fixes in the changelog given below.

The new release resolves the top issues described in the following sections and includes fixes for some other internal issues:

  • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused the Settings app to crash when a user accessed system Bluetooth settings after pairing a device.
  • Fixed an issue on some devices where the scrolling animation sometimes stuttered or paused.
  • Fixed various issues that were impacting system stability and performance.
