It’s October 03 and we are just one day away from the official Android 14 version which is ready to make its way for Pixel devices. As per some new inputs, Google will serve the major software upgrade to its handsets on October 04 – the same day as the Pixel 8 series launch event.

According to the Android OS schedule, published by a Canadian carrier Telus, the US tech giant will roll out the Android 14 build to Pixel devices on October 04. Meanwhile, the source shared a list of eligible phones that will be the first to receive the ultimate offering.

Pixel Devices

  • Google Pixel 4a
  • Google Pixel 4a (5G)
  • Google Pixel 5
  • Google Pixel 6
  • Google Pixel 6 Pro
  • Google Pixel 6a
  • Google Pixel 7
  • Google Pixel 7 Pro
  • Google Pixel 7a

Telu has quoted ‘Android U’ beside these handsets, reflecting that they will gain the new stable version tomorrow. It is worth mentioning that the Pixel 4a has been added mistakenly to the list. Notably, the respective phone is no longer getting OS updates, nor it was eligible for beta builds.

Ahead, the source quotes that ‘All dates are approximate and subject to change’. These dates hint at when the update will be released. Though it can take a few weeks to roll out to all devices.
