Apple is likely to add a new member to its AirPods family that is AirPods Pro 2. LeaksApplePro on his Twitter account shares some information about the expected features, price, and release date of these upcoming Airpods.

Overall, a not so great update, more of like the AirPods gen 2 over AirPods gen 1.

These AirPods are expected to be priced similar to the AirPods Pro first generation which was $249 at the time of their launch. Customers can expect some upgradations in their features such as improved noise-canceling, more battery back up, and a new ambient light sensor.

There will be increased battery life as compared to the previous generation AirPods. Although, there is no information about how much increment we can see in the battery. Looking at their size we can not expect a major change.
These AirPods are likely to come with the Ambient Light sensor that will be used to take biometric measurements. AirPods second-generation can be expected to arrive by the end of 2021 or at the beginning of 2022.
Apple is also planning to introduce its first over the ear AirPods Studio that are rumored to arrive in march 2021.
