Apple has recently shared a new blog on its newsroom page and announced the availability of the Tap to Pay feature in the UK. This efficient capability will let independent sellers, small merchants, and large retailers in the nation to use their iPhone devices as a payment medium.
Going into the flashbacks, the American tech giant brought the respective feature into existence in February 2022. As of now, Apple has started rolling out the Tap to Pay feature to more countries, including the UK around the globe.

Tap to Pay functionality enables users to accept payments via Apple Pay, contactless credit and debit cards, and other digital wallets, without requiring any other hardware or card machine. It uses NFC technology to securely make contactless payments.
