Apple has started hammering its hands on the iOS 16.6 firmware and released the first beta for developers. The latest version is in the testing phase and will soon be a part of the iOS 16 family with new features, fixes, and significant optimizations.
Surprisingly, the American tech giant has just released the iOS 16.5 official version for general consumers. The respective build holds a bunch of improvements and tweaks related to the Apple News Sports Tab, Podcasts, Spotlight, and more aspects.
However, without delaying a second, the company has seeded a new beta firmware in the name of Apple iOS 16.6 for developers. Perhaps, this could be the last 16.x version upgrade, before the major and the most-awaited iOS 17 software release.
As per the details, this will be a minor update before the giant 17th version, which will give a slight touch-up to your iPhone. At present, the company has pushed off the build to developers for testing purposes, without any confirmation on its stable release. But we will keep posting you with the latest inputs on this matter.
