Posted on

With the release of iOS 18.2, Apple News+ subscribers in the U.S. now have access to a new daily sudoku feature. Available in easy, moderate, and challenging levels, these daily puzzles offer a fresh interactive experience for puzzle enthusiasts and are supported across iPhone, iPad (iPadOS 18.2), and likely on Mac devices (macOS Sequoia 15.2). This marks the fourth puzzle game on Apple News+, joining Crossword, Crossword Mini, and Quartiles.

Apple News+ subscribers can track various stats through a dedicated scoreboard, such as the total number of puzzles completed and the quickest times across each difficulty. The monthly subscription for Apple News+ in the U.S. is $12.99, and it’s also bundled with the Apple One Premier plan, which includes Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, Apple Fitness+, and 2TB of iCloud+ storage, for $37.95 monthly.

The beta version of iOS 18.2 is now available for Apple Intelligence-supported devices, including iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models, with a public release expected in December. Additional enhancements in iOS 18.2 include features like Image Playground and Genmoji, which leverage Apple’s latest advancements in AI.
