Apple iOS 15/iPadOS 15: Eligible iPhone and iPads [Expected]

Apple released iOS 14/iPadOS 14, its latest version of the iPhone Operating System back in 2020. This version brings many new changes to the user interface of the iPhones and improves the overall security of the devices. This latest version is rolled out for all the compatible handsets including the iPhone 6 models and 2016 iPhone SE.

Apple has not revealed anything about its upcoming iOS 15 that will be launched this year and will come with iPhone 13 models. Meanwhile, we have already started to receive leaks related to this OS. According to the latest info from iPhoneSoft, Apple will remove the older iPhones and iPads from the list of iOS 15/iPadOS 15.

These are the iPhone 6 models including the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus and the iPhone SE 2016. This means that the iOS 14 was the last major upgrade that these models received and they will no longer be compatible with the iOS 15.

Also for the iPadOS 15, the iPad including iPad Mini 4, iPad Mini Air 2, and iPad 5 will be excluded from the list. The iPhones and iPad losing compatibility as they equip older chipsets that will not support the latest features of the iOS 15.
