Apple has dropped the release candidate version for iOS 16.6 and will soon bring the stable software build for eligible devices. While several users are waiting to grab some new improvements, this could be the last upgrade for a few iPhone holders.
During the iOS 17 launch, Apple mentioned the supported device list for the upcoming upgrade. At the same time, consumers acknowledged that models such as iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus won’t be a part of the next major upgrade.
