According to Mark Gurman, the first public beta of the iOS 16 will approach late on the consumer platform. This report turns out disappointing for non-beta testers who wanted to taste the new software at the earliest.
iOS 16’s first public beta is scheduled alongside iOS 16 developer beta 3 in July. First iOS public betas are typically released alongside beta 2. That means the public beta may be running behind. Current internal seeds are a bit buggy. Things are still fluid and could shift.

Furthermore, the analyst tweets that the public beta of the iOS 16 firmware will appear with the third developer beta. In a usual process, it happens alongside the second developer version. Thus, this report hints that the public beta might be running late this year from the Apple side. Although, there is time in the reveal of the new software based on which the analysts write “Things are still fluid and could shift”.
On the flip side, the firmware is speaking to bring a bunch of new features and applications along with it. One such feature could be the multitasking interface and a few new interactions for Apple iOS 16 devices. Further, it will improve the notification system and will carry the interface to iPadOS as well.
