Apple is bringing the second iOS 17.1 RC update, especially for the new iPhone 15 series. The company has initially served the latest firmware to developers, and will gradually roll it out to the public phase in the upcoming days.
It is worth mentioning that the second iOS 17.1 RC update is only available for the Apple iPhone 15 series. Perhaps, it won’t reach other devices in the family. At the same time, this could be the last testing build before the stable rollout, which is likely to take place by the end of this month.
Speaking of the latest firmware, it doesn’t show any specific changes, features, or optimizations for the iPhone 15 lineup. Although, the update may fix the unknown issues related to battery, display, and more, that have been haunting users for a while.
To download the build, registered developers can make their way to Settings, and then select Software Update > Beta Updates. Now turn on the toggle for the iOS 17 or iPadOS 17 Developer Beta. Ensure that your Apple ID is linked with a developer account to install the update.
